Original development starts from the product requirements and controlled engineering files. Existing-platform sourcing is a separate OEM/ODM service, selected when that route fits the client’s brief.
A reliable estimate needs the specification, current evidence, target markets, expected volume and unresolved risks. Tooling, laboratory testing and production lead times are scoped separately.
