MATRIX TECH DEVELOPMENT

Product redesign and engineering rescue

When a product already exists, the right next step is evidence, not an automatic restart. Matrix investigates the failure, identifies the affected interfaces and defines the smallest justified engineering change.

Engineering services

What the work covers

  • Diagnosis: review returned units, reproduce faults, compare revisions and examine electronics, firmware, mechanical and process interactions.

  • Change planning: compare repair, component substitution, firmware correction, mechanical revision and tooling changes against cost and risk.

  • Verification: define measurable acceptance criteria, retest the affected functions and control revised files before a production change.

From brief to verified handover

  1. Reproduce the problem and establish a measurable baseline.

  2. Compare corrective options and validate the selected change.

  3. Release the correction with traceability and production checks.

Questions before you start

Can you promise a cost reduction before reviewing the product?

No. Savings must be evaluated against tooling, qualification, reliability and lifetime supply cost. A cheaper component is not necessarily a cheaper finished product.

Will you replace our current factory?

Not by default. We first establish whether the issue is design, supplier capability or process control. Factory changes are considered only when the evidence and project requirements justify them.
