MATRIX TECH DEVELOPMENT

IoT app development and product UI/UX

A connected product should remain understandable on its own screen and on the phone. Matrix connects interface design to real device states, so commands, progress and warnings mean the same thing across the system.

Engineering services

What the work covers

  • User journeys: onboarding, pairing, setup, guided programs, manual control and clear error recovery for the intended user.

  • Connected functions: agreed Wi-Fi or Bluetooth behavior, live measurements, progress, notifications and account or device permissions.

  • System integration: versioned APIs, device command validation, offline behavior and testing across the agreed iOS/Android device matrix.

From brief to verified handover

  1. Map user tasks to device states and permission boundaries.

  2. Prototype the workflow and integrate with real firmware.

  3. Test pairing, interruptions, alerts and release compatibility.

Questions before you start

Do we need an app for every product?

No. Connectivity should solve a real user problem. We define which tasks belong on the device, which benefit from a phone and what must remain usable without a connection.

Can one app support a product family?

Yes, where the product strategy supports it. Shared onboarding, accounts and device models can reduce duplication, while individual products retain their own controls and validation requirements.
